Becoming a Part of "Talmidim"
"Talmidim" is open to all high school students who are serious about the commitments above. TYM "Talmidim" is designed to help you in this journey. When you make the decision to join this process you will be given the following opportunities:
- Be mentored one on one and receive personal direction, encouragement, and a specfic plan for your spiritual growth
- Confidentially share your journey including struggles, temptations, etc.
- Read from the Gospels daily
- Be given specific assignments to help you engage, memorize, and understand God's Word
- Read books or excerpts from books that help you understand more about your Rabbi, Jesus
- Keep a journal that records prayers, observations, questions, and things learned
- Meet regularly (once every two weeks) with Rob who will check your progress, encourage you, and give you further instruction
- Meet once a month with the entire group of "Talmidim" for sharing and encouragement
